Development for a Mid-Sized Technology Company
Problem: Our
client was unsure how to position a new security badging system
targeted for mid-sized companies.
Solution: A
market assessment showed that the proposed offering was too
limited, since the market wanted a more robust bundled set
of services. Schmidt CS also determined that the proposed target
price was too low, calling into question the adequacy of the
system. Therefore, likely profit margins were considerably
higher than expected.
Result: Our
client's product was being redesigned and repositioned based
on our recommendations.
